Who We Are
At Piscisea, we are guided by a simple belief: the freedom to choose. From our headquarters in Texas, we develop fishing equipment that combines the thrill of the fight with the continuous advancement of modern technology.
Built on extensive real-world experience, Piscisea products are refined through rigorous port-side testing and offshore validation in Galveston, Texas. As a proud member of the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), we are committed to delivering products that embody both credibility and innovation.
Fishing is at the heart of everything we do. As anglers first and engineers second, we create reliable, high-performance gear inspired by real experiences on the water and driven by a passion for helping others enjoy the sport their way.
Why We Started
Every reel we design begins with the same question: What role should equipment play in the perfect catch?
Waiting for the bite. Feeling the tension on the line. Battling the fish. We imagine those moments on the water and build our gear around them.
Our hybrid reels reflect that same philosophy. They combine instinct and innovation, giving anglers the freedom to decide how much assistance they want and when they want it. We design our equipment in the lab, but it is made for the wild, so you can chase what lies beneath.
Piscisea takes its name from Piscis Austrinus, the Guardian Fish of Greek mythology. It symbolizes wisdom, direction, and control, the very essence of our reels’ design and mission.
Our Community
Our recent offshore fishing trip in Long Beach, California, brought together everyone from 50-year fishing veterans to kids catching their first fish using Piscisea. It was a great reminder that the best innovations are the ones that bring people closer together.
